I'll have a blue blue Christmas

It's that time of year when everything is hectic and you feel like you just never have enough time! I've been super busy with work since everyone is trying to squeeze in their PTO. Not to mention I finished all my Christmas shopping TODAY! Well, minus the White Elephant gifts for my family's annual Christmas dinner. Talk about procrastination. The shopping gods must have been on my side today because I found parking right at the entrance of the mall as soon as I drove up the parking garage. EXCITE. Anyhow, since it was my day off, I went to the store to purchase what I needed to bake my team some cookies, ingredients for my dish I am bringing to my family's Christmas dinner then to the mall. So here is my outfit post!

Francesca top, Joe's jeggings, Steve Madden boots
Left hand: Michael Kors rose gold watch, Brandy Pham bracelet

Jewelmint Poseidon necklace, Bauble Bar bracelets

DIY Ombre Hair

The photos aren’t clear because I used my iPhone. ANOTHER reason why I NEEEDDDD AN iPHONE 4S. But after having four iPhone 4’s in a six month span, getting a new phone seems ridiculous since I’d probably ruin it someway somehow.

My DIY ombré look came out pretty good if I do say so myself.

The color isn’t as blonde but that wasn’t the shade I was going for, however the more I look at it, the more I want blonder tips now. -__- But I’d have to purchase another box of dye and I’d only use 1/4 of the product.

For a more detailed description of how I attained this color and what products I used, please go to my Tumblr

December Wedding Bells

This Saturday was my cousin's wedding day. I was only able to take pictures of what I chose to wear in the evening. Not that many photos either, I always underestimate the time I need to get ready in time, I even forgot to put on earrings. -___- It's alright because it is not my day, it is the bride's day. Anyhow, I love weddings, they bring everyone together!

BCBG dress, Sam Edelman Lorna pumps, Brandy Pham Charlotte bracelet and Jewelmint Birdcage Bangle

Our place settings (my Vietnamese name is Thy)

I love the meaning behind the cranes on each person's place setting. According to Japanese tradition, senbazuru is folding one thousand cranes. By completing this act before the wedding, the couple will ensure a blissful marriage. My cousin and her now husband must've spent hours folding these! Weddings that incorporate two different cultures, in this case Vietnamese and Japanese are always a learning and interesting experience.
