We went to eat at Penelope, supposedly for brunch, but we woke up late and missed it...so we got here for lunch. I had the chicken meatball sandwich. It was alright... but it was a cute restaurant. I kind of wish I took pictures of the outside. But then again, by this time we were all so hungry that we rushed in to eat. Off we went to 5th Ave, I went to TWO different Chanel boutiques and NONE of them had the bag I wanted to purchase. Yay for wanting something around Mother's Day... everything was sold out! Next up, FAO Schwartz and Brooklyn Bridge.

Can you guess what this post will be about? Chelsea Market and the High Line. I'm doing these pictures out of order so this was not my first day in New York City, it was actually my last day. Note to future NYC visitors, if you plan on partying and sightseeing, it won't get done.

Once we were done with Chelsea Market, we walked over to High Line with our gelatos. I must say the High Line was lame. I guess since there aren't that many gardens or parks in NY, this would have to do. Definitely not a must.

Chose this song title since I am about to go to New York, NY! The dog days are over TEMPORARILY since I am free from work! I've been looking forward for this trip for months and it's finally happening. I can't wait to eat, shop and sightsee.

Here's my outfit post of the day. It started off horrific, woke up early on my day off to get my car serviced. There was traffic on all 3 freeways I had to cross to get to the dealership, AFTER 9AM! I chose an appointment AFTER 9 so I wouldn't run into this issue. When I got there, even though I specifically requested a loaner, they "ran out." WAH! They offered me another alternative, but I only wanted to drive the same car I came in with. YES, there is a difference between my car and other cars from rental companies. -___- So I called my friend and she came to the rescue! So my rant of the day, TRAFFIC SUCKS. Oh and they finished my car around 5pm, more traffic on the way back. y i p p e e. I feel much better after HH. Alcohol does wonders.
